TECHNICAL COACHING

BACKED BY 25 YEARS IN ELITE SPRINGBOARD & PLATFORM DIVING

After more than 25 years coaching springboard and platform divers, I brought my technical expertise into the rapidly developing world of high diving.

​

Throughout my career, I have helped athletes reach medal-winning performances at events including the Pan American Games, Commonwealth Games, World University Games, FINA Grand Prix competitions, Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series events, and World Aquatics Junior High Diving Championships.  Many of them were divers who felt that their coaches and federations had given up on them.  And then they came to me.

There is nothing I love more than working with athletes who have a burning ambition inside of them - no matter what they have been told by the people around them.

In my first two years coaching high diving, I helped many athletes transition from springboard and platform diving to high diving, including:

ALEX TIAGLEI (pictured on right) - 2023 Junior Pan American Champion & 2024 World Junior High Diving Medalist

ZITA BERNATSKY (pictured on left) - selected as a wildcard at the 2024 Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series stop in Antalya, Türkiye

In 2026, Canada swept Gold, Silver, and Bronze in the Girls 15-meter event at the Junior World Championships.

My strengths as a coach are: meeting an athlete right where they are without judgement, identifying the technical priorities that will move their technique forward the fastest, working through mental blocks and emotional baggage from their past, and turning complex concepts into clear, trainable actions.  Yes, you're allowed to have massive goals - no matter what your background is!  ​

 

I created AIM HIGHER because all motivated high divers worldwide deserve access to effective coaching.

​

Everyone needs help getting where they want to go, and there is nothing I love better than helping people who have been told that their goals are completely "unreasonable".  

 

There are only a handful of technical experts who specialize in coaching high diving worldwide... and this one is now inviting divers to become a part of a new global team.  My goal is to build something completely new - and have a ton of fun along the way!
